  Effective salesmanship is more than just conveying product knowledge to a potential client or customer. You can know your product backwards and forwards and still not make a sale. It is more than following the steps of sale. You can follow all of the “closing” techniques and still they do not buy. And, it is more than keeping your sales force highly motivated in the face of constant rejection from prospective clients or customers.
